Description

Embark on an enriching 2-day cultural journey to the Fergana Valley, a land of fertile plains, deep-rooted traditions, and exquisite Uzbek craftsmanship. This tour is perfect for those eager to explore the artistic and cultural heritage of this picturesque region.
Discover Rishtan, the renowned home of pottery masters, where artisans have passed down their skills for generations. Visit Kokand, a city rich in history, featuring the Royal Palace, ancient madrasahs, and magnificent mosques. In Margilan, the heart of Uzbekistan’s silk production, witness the fascinating process of silk-making that has remained in high demand worldwide.
Step inside a traditional silk factory where age-old methods are still used. From feeding silkworms with mulberry leaves to dyeing fabrics with natural mineral and vegetable pigments, every step of the production process unfolds before your eyes. Observe how delicate threads are extracted from boiled cocoons and transformed into elegant fabrics. Walking through the workshop, you will be mesmerized by the skill and artistry involved—and you may find yourself unable to resist purchasing one of these beautifully crafted pieces!
