- Train tickets Khiva – Bukhara by standard train (economy class) OR transfer by car;
- Train tickets Bukhara - Samarkand, Samarkand – Tashkent by speed train "Afrosiab"/Sharq" (economy class);

- International flights to/from Tashkent;

Our creative plan

Flight to Tashkent.
Arrival in Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, first President of Uzbekistan.
Migration formalities usually take 20 min to 60 min: visa/passport control and baggage claim. Come out of the terminal and meet the staff holding a sign “TravelBliss” or with your name on it.
Transfer to the hotel. As Tashkent airport not far from the city center, the transfer will not take a long time (20 – 40 minutes depending on the hotel location).
Arrival in the hotel. Check-in.
Resting time in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

05:30 – Transfer to the local airport.
07:00 – Flight to Urgench on HY51.
08:30 – Arrival at Urgench airport.

Transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 km) to drop off your luggage. Standard check-in at 14:00.

Begin a walking tour of Ichan Kala, the historic heart of Khiva. Ichan Kala is the largest open-air museum in Central Asia, featuring:
Ata Darvaza – the grand entrance gate,
Kunya Ark – the ancient fortress of Khiva rulers,
Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasa,
Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasa,
Kalta Minor – the legendary unfinished minaret,
The Palace of Khivan Khan Allakuli,
Tash-Hovli Palace – home to the Khan’s harem with 40 concubines,
Caravanserai and Tim of Allakuli Khan,
Mausoleum of Said Allauddin,
Islam Khodja Madrasa and Minaret – an iconic symbol of Uzbekistan, an early 14th-century architectural masterpiece,
Juma Mosque and Minaret.

09:00 – Drive from Khiva to Bukhara (475 km, ~7 hours) through the Kyzylkum Desert with short stops along the way OR by train (depending on the schedule /Dep.: 08:57/ Arr.: 14:50 / Tue, Fri, Sun).
Arrival in Bukhara.
Transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon/evening at leisure.
Overnight at the hotel.

Walking Tour in Bukhara (5-6 hours):

  • Lyabi Hauz Ensemble (Nadir Divanbegi Madrasah, Khanqah, Kukeldash Madrasah, and the statue of Khoja Nasreddin);
  • Magoki Attari Mosque – one of the oldest surviving mosques in Bukhara, dating back to pre-Mongol times;
  • Abdullakhan Tim – a vibrant market with handicrafts, ceramics, national clothing, and carpets;
  • Saifuddin Caravanserai – the Bukhara Handicraft Development Center;
  • The three domed bazaars of the 16th century – Toqi Sarrafon, Toqi Telpak Furushon, and Toqi Zargaron, once centers of silk, jewelry, and money exchange trade;
  • Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasahs – a pair of madrasahs facing each other, showcasing unique ornamental facades;
  • Poi Kalon Complex – Kalon Minaret, Kalon Mosque, and Mir Arab Madrasah, the heart of Bukhara, an awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece;
  • Ark Fortress – the oldest citadel dating back to the 1st century BC, full of historical myths and legends.

6-hour sightseeing tour of Samarkand:
– Gur-Emir Mausoleum – the final resting place of Tamerlane and his descendants, adorned with golden decorations and one of the most significant historical sites in the world;
– Registan Square – the heart of Samarkand and a masterpiece of medieval Central Asian architecture, consisting of three grand madrasahs: Ulugbek, Sherdor, and Tillakori;
– Bibi-Khanym Mosque – one of the largest medieval buildings in the city, considered one of the most magnificent mosques in the Islamic world in the 15th century;
– Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis – a unique complex of mausoleums lined with stunning tilework, belonging to various historical figures;
– Ulugh Beg Observatory – the greatest astronomical center of the medieval world, built by the scholar and astronomer Ulugh Beg;
– Siab Bazaar – a lively market offering local delicacies and souvenirs.
16:30 – Transfer to Samarkand railway station.
17:28 – Departure to Tashkent on the high-speed "Afrosiyob" train.
19:44 – Arrival in Tashkent.

Start sightseeing tour of Tashkent (5-6 hrs) visiting old and new parts of the city:
- Amir Timur Square, founded in 1882 and originally called Konstantinovsky Square, was renamed on August 31, 1994 after of the Amir Timur to honor the cultural and historical contribution of the great conqueror.Around the Square there is the Museum of History of Timurids, Uzbekistan hotel, Forum Palace, and famous Tashkent striking clock.
- Theater Square with the Opera House: State Academic Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi built in 1947 is one of the best opera theater of the world performs both classical and national repertoires.
- Independence Square, the main square of Uzbekistan reflects the past, present and future of the country. There are fountains standing for the life energy of Uzbek people, the Cabinet and the Senate, the “Eternal flame" in honor of soldiers who died during the Second World War.
- Earthquake Memorial, the composition is devoted to the tragic date of earthquake in Tashkent on April 26, 1966, and is erected in the approximate place of the earthquake epicenter. Residents still come to the monument to honor those people who took a part in the reconstruction of Tashkent;
- Khast Imam Square – a religious center of the city consisting of the Barakkhan madrasah; Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and the library of Islamic Literature with the Holy Koran Book of the VII century (original Quran Othman). Khast Imam is one of the most significant spiritual centers in Central Asia and attracts the pilgrims and visitors all over the world.
- Chorsu bazaar – the ancient bazaar of Tashkent. “Chorsu” means “four waters”, symbolically meaning the conjunction of four major parts of the old city in the bazaar where people come for trades. The bazaar beautiful blue dome, built in traditional style after the Tashkent earthquake, is often depicted in postcards and international magazines and became one of the major sights of interest both for locals and guests – one can see oriental tiled bazaar from different souvenir shops with ceramics, handicraft works, carpets and jewelry, the whole pavilion full of delirious fruits to the finest textiles and colorful fabrics.
- Tashkent Metro (the first line was launched in 1977) with beautiful train stations each decorated in thematic style with traditional ornaments and special lightning.
